affirmed everything I worked to-
wards and what I believe in. Step-
ping on that assembly floor for
the first time was a good feeling
that I’ll never forget,” said Frazier.
Frazier admits Dec. 3 was a
great day with all the accolades,
but after that, he has been all busi-
ness trying to get up to speed on
bills and working on behalf of his
constituents.
One issue that is not settled
and is on Northern California’s
mind is the California Delta
where twin tunnels are being
built to take water to Southern
California.
“I like working with the Gov-
ernor, but I don’t like this plan. It’s
a non-starter for me and there has
to be a better way.The Delta is a
magnificent sanctuary on many
levels. It must be protected at all
costs,” explained Frazier.
Instead of twin tunnels, he
suggests a better way includes
building water storage facilities in
Southern California. This would
still create jobs while solving the
water problem.
Other issues on Frazier’s “hot
list” include job creation, improv-
ing the state's transportation sys-
tem, and limiting hikes in college
tuition.
As Frazier continues to get
his feet wet, he was quick to
thank his staff for helping him
be efficient with his actions and
working towards his goals.
“Being a city councilman
you pretty much work on your
own to accomplish goals. In Sac-
ramento, I have a wonderful staff
that is helping me accomplish
my goals,” said Frazier. Frazier
added that he will continue with
his motto “People Before Politics”
and all he needs to begin working
is hearing from the people.
“I am here to help, stop by and
let’s talk,” said Frazier.
