e Delta residents who are inveterate lovers of the written word have something new to
crow about. Delta Living Magazine is out and it’s looking like a keeper. I devoured the premier July
edition as it hit on all notes covering an eclectic range of interests with breezy dispatch. I particu-
larly liked ‘Sit down with Johnny Steele.’ Getting inside Johnny’s head, you could see why comedi-
ans are very often the most thoughtful of individuals. Keep up the good word and erudite but down
to earth observations of local life. May you become a Delta mainstay.

ohnny Steele is one of my absolute favorite comedians. I enjoyed him on the radio and
stuff, but always love seeing him live. One of my favorite moments was being on Johnny’s radio
show. Thank you for interviewing him and stuff!

wanted to comment on your letter about your Mom and your dedication of your premier
issue to her. Reading through your story really shows how much effort you have put forth into this
new publication, and your time spent with her. You are right – she is proud of you, and you should
be as well! I lost my Mom 2 years ago, and yes, just as you, selfishly won’t let her go. Touching
story & what a lovely smile J

ear Delta Living Editor,
Thank you for interviewing and showcasing the life of a working artist/comedian, Johnny Steele,
in your first issue. The interview gave readers a picture of what is behind the stand-up comedian
entertaining us... inspiration, concern for social issues, the hard work of writing comedy, creat-
ing a business plan, social media, building an audience, etc. And while all of that is important, it
came through in your article that leading a good life with closeness to family and friends tops it all.
Thanks for the great perspective.

harleen, I just had a chance to read through your magazine. Very well written articles! My
only comment would be that graphically it is a little distracting. I think I would standardize the font
used in articles and maybe fade out any backgrounds used in articles. Makes it easier to distinguish
between the articles and advertisements (always a challenge in a four color publication. :-)

reat job on your first edition. Lots of entertaining content and colorful local photos. I loved
the article on Asperger’s Syndrome. Keep bringing important and informative topics to your read-
ers. Best of luck on future editions.
