Publishing

Your Printing Resource for Newspapers, Books, Comics & Graphic Novels, and other Publications. For nearly half a century, FolgerGraphics has specialized in school and college newspaper publishing. Our expertise and experience have enabled us to make newspaper publishing simple. The digital revolution has forced the printing world to reinvent itself. We are now a computer-driven industry capable of doing amazing things with the click of a mouse.

Bindery

Our high-speed Muller Martini Bravo-T saddle binder can gather up to six magazine signatures, fold and add a full color cover, staple the spine in four positions and trim three sides leading to optimal production reliability and high net output. Our other capabilities include precision folding, cutting, drilling and padding, inserting and shrink wrapping. In addition, FolgerGraphics now offers plastic coil binding for lay-flat books such as cookbooks and manuals.

Web Offset Printing

One of our specialties is web offset publication printing. Public and private sector publishers of newspapers, tabloids, magazines, catalogs, directories, schedules, and booklets from all over Northern California depend on us to meet their deadlines and high quality requirements. We print in full process and spot color at speeds up to 20,000 per hour. Ask about web offset printing as an economical alternative to sheetfed for long runs.

Sheetfed Printing

Our Heidelberg CD74 Speedmaster prints stunning, world-renowned quality. We print five colors of ink plus a protective glossy coating in one pass at 15,000 sheets per hour. Our Heidelberg CD102 prints six colors on larger 28" x 40" size sheets. This state-of-the-art Heidelberg technology records and remembers the parameters of your present and future job reprints. The exact settings of hundreds of ink keys on the press are recorded in the file so that color printing on your job will always be exact, consistent and accurate. That means optimum cost savings and 100% accuracy.

Digital Printing

The FolgerGraphics Digital Production Department features three powerful digital presses. Our new Canon ImagePress 850 presses are equipped with an EFI Fiery Interface that produces outstanding image quality direct from your computer files. These advanced digital presses are twinned so that we can double the output speed for your rush jobs. With our VDP technology you can now customize each individual document. It can be as simple as printing name and address information or changing pictures and illustrations. We have the tools, let us help you capitalize on technology.

Mailing

Customer mailing lists are easily processed through our postal software to obtain the correct ZIP code sequence to qualify for the lowest postage rates. Once printed, FolgerGraphics can directly ship your job to your customers, which saves you time and money.

Post-Press Production

The new FolgerGraphics Post Press Production Department now offer precision foiling and embossing for special effects on business cards, presentation folders, book covers and other products. Our die cutting presses provide shapes and effects to create product packages and boxes. We can number and crash print multi-part business forms and envelopes and tickets.

Large Format and Signage

From museum exhibits to trade show booths and banners, grand format printing is the bigger better solution for direct-printing graphics on substrates of every shape and size. Plywood, vinyl, fabric, aluminum and more combine to create compelling displays for your brand.
